The short version. You can use all of Blesse without an account. If you choose to create one, we store your email address and nothing else about you. Your reading, streak and notes stay on your phone. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not track you across other apps.
Who we are
Blesse is an iOS app offering short Bible videos, audio, a King James Version reader and a daily study plan. This policy covers the Blesse app and this website.
What we collect
If you create an account — optional
Signing in is entirely optional. Every video, every audio episode, the Bible reader and the daily plan work without one. If you do create an account, we store:

If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only ever receive Apple's private relay address. We never see your real one.
What stays on your phone
The following is stored only on your device and is never sent to us. It is deleted when you delete the app:
- Your onboarding answers
- Which daily steps you have completed, and your streak
- How far through a video you watched
- Your focus-session minutes
- Your settings — reminder times, text size, translation
- Any notes you write on a chapter
What we do not collect
No name (beyond the optional Apple first name), no phone number, no contacts, no location, no photos, no health data, no payment details, no browsing history, no advertising identifiers, and no analytics about how you use the app.
Tracking
Blesse does not track you, and never asks to. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising network and no attribution service in the app, so it does not show the iOS "Allow tracking" prompt at all. Nothing you do in Blesse is linked to your activity in other apps or on other websites. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before the change ships.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Blesse schedules daily reminders on your device — a verse in the morning, a reading reminder in the evening, and a gentle nudge if you have been away. These are local notifications. No push server is involved and no device token is sent anywhere. You can turn each one off in the app under Settings → Reminders, or all of them in iOS Settings.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. We use two providers:

Video and audio are served from Supabase Storage. Requesting a file necessarily reveals your IP address to that server, as with any website; we do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
How long we keep it
Your account details are kept until you delete your account. Deleting is immediate and permanent — there is no grace period and no archived copy.
Deleting your account and your data
In the app: Settings (the gear on the Today screen) → Account → Delete account → confirm.
This permanently deletes your account record. It is a deletion, not a deactivation. To also remove what is stored on your phone, delete the app.
You can also email us and we will delete it for you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the UK/EU GDPR and the CCPA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the data we hold, and to object to how it is used. Since the only data we hold is your email address and an account identifier, most requests are satisfied by deleting your account. For anything else, email us and we will respond.
Children
Blesse is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we will update the date below and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
